For reservations
Your $100 / $500 / $1,000 deposit is fully refundable at any time before the configuration cutoff, which is 30 days before your scheduled delivery date. We process refunds within 10 business days to the original payment method.
How to request
- Email reservations@ameka.ai with your reservation reference (the AMK-XXXXX number from your confirmation).
- We reply within one business day to confirm and start the refund.
- Stripe processes the refund within 5–10 business days to the original card.
If we miss the timeline
If we don't process your refund within 10 business days of your request, you are entitled to interest at the IRS short-term applicable federal rate (computed monthly) from the 11th business day until the refund clears.
For finished units (after delivery)
Once your Ameka has been delivered, the purchase agreement governs returns. We expect this to include:
- 30-day return window. Full refund minus a configurable restocking fee for any unit returned in like-new condition within 30 days of delivery.
- 2-year limited warranty. We will repair or replace any unit with a manufacturing defect within 24 months of delivery, free of charge, with return shipping covered.
- Right-to-repair commitment. Schematics, board files, and a community-friendly repair guide will be published on first delivery. Ameka 01 is intended to outlast the company.
The final purchase agreement may adjust these terms; the principles will not change.
For investments
SAFE investments are not refundable. You are buying a future right to equity. Before you sign, consult your own counsel and read the full subscription agreement we send you with the data room.
