1. Acceptance
By accessing ameka.ai or any subdomain ("the site"), you accept these terms. If you don't, please don't use the site.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 to place a reservation or investor inquiry. The site is not directed at children. You may not use the site in a jurisdiction where doing so would be unlawful, or if you are an individual or entity on a US OFAC sanctions list.
3. Reservations
Reservations are governed by the separate Reservation Terms and Refund Policy. In any conflict between these Terms of Service and the Reservation Terms, the Reservation Terms control for matters relating to your reservation.
4. Investor communications
Information on /invest is for general information only and is not an offer to sell securities. Any offering will be made only to accredited investors pursuant to a Rule 506(c) offering under the Securities Act of 1933 with definitive subscription documents. Forward-looking statements involve risk and uncertainty and may not turn out as we hope.
5. Intellectual property
All content on the site — copy, design, imagery, video, code, the Ameka name, the mark, the wordmark, and Ameka OS — is owned by Ameka, Inc. or its licensors. You may link to ameka.ai with our name. You may not reproduce significant portions, build a derivative site, or pass off our brand as your own.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape the site beyond reasonable rate (a polite crawler is fine; flooding is not).
- Attempt to break, probe, or work around our security.
- Misrepresent your identity, including when reserving on someone else's behalf.
- Use the API for anything other than placing your own reservation or investor inquiry.
7. No warranty
The site is provided "as is." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Engineering targets published on the site (specs, dates, prices) are good-faith estimates that may change with engineering reality.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Ameka, Inc.'s aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the site is limited to the amount of your refundable deposit, or US $100 if you haven't placed one. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Ameka against claims arising from your unlawful use of the site or breach of these terms.
10. Governing law, disputes
California law governs these terms, without regard to conflicts-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. Both parties waive a jury trial.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date at least 30 days before they take effect.
